Mike & Service Dog Quincy

Quincy accompanies Mike to King Kekaulike High School, where Mike works as a counselor. "Quincy is a big help with the students that come in for counseling. He puts them at ease right away", says Mike. Mike was paralyzed as a result of a surfing accident. Quincy assists him with tasks such as picking up dropped items, carrying his lunch bag, opening doors and turning on lights. "Quincy gives me confidence and independence when I'm out in public. He's my best friend."
