Ann & Service Dog Echo

Echo is a Portuguese Water Dog, a breed raised in Portugal to jump off fishing boats and retrieve nets. Echo's natural instinct to retrieve is put to good use as a Service Dog for Ann, who was paralyzed in a car accident four years ago. Ann is a UH student, who enjoys an active lifestyle that includes playing wheelchair tennis and basketball. Echo loves the water and Ann even takes him kayaking and surfing with her!
