Programs
HCI reaches hundreds of people in the community each week through a variety of programs designed to educate students and community leaders and benefit people with physical and developmental disabilities.

School Programs
HCI visits local elementary and high schools with a team of trainers, graduates, and Service Dogs that demonstrate how these special dogs can change the lives of people with disabilities. Children learn not understand and appreciate people with different abilities.

Community Outreach Program
HCI hosts weekly visits from schools, hospitals and organizations that bring groups of children and adults with disabilities to Sadie's Place for a time of fun, education and interaction with the HCI puppies in training.

Therapy Team Program
Certified Therapy Dog Teams visit patients at local area nursing homes and hospitals on a weekly basis. These special teams bring joy and unconditional love to people at a time when they need it the most.

Educational Program
HCI provides informative presentations about Assistance Dogs and ADI civic organizations and businesses. These presentations usually last about 30 to 60 minutes and are very educational.
