HCI is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation and charges no fees for it's services and exists through the generosity of it's supporters and volunteers. Hawaii Canines for Independence, Inc. provides mutually beneficial, quality partnerships between dogs and people through which their highest potential can be achieved. HCI offers people with disabilities increased independence through the unique skills of dogs that are cared for and trained by dedicated instructors and volunteers. HCI is committed to quality service and welcomes applications from people with disabilities throughout the State of Hawaii. Thank you for your generous support!
